Psaroulis Wines
Psaroulis Wines, a modern boutique winery founded in 2013, is lead by Kostas Psaroulis, second generation wine maker, born and raised in the same land he grows the grapes and makes his wine.
The Psaroulis family cultivates vinyeards since 1948 on a unique terroir that shows in the glass. The main vinyeards stretch on the bottom of a dried out prehistoric lake!
Faithful to a centuries old tradition that demands the wine maker to work in harmony with nature, Kostas Psaroulis delivers to the world high quality wines of unique character and finess.
Asyrtiko, Malagousia and Fileri account for five labels of the winery. Agiorgitiko & Cabernet Sauvignon are combined to a one-of-a-kind blend!

Fileri (Fileri)
Φιλέρι (Φιλέρι)
Shinny yellow, green flashes. Scents of white flowers and roses. Smooth on the palate with a discreet butterry aftertaste. Pairs perfectly with smoked fish and shellfish, or grilled corn on the cob to feel the beauty of simplicity!

Malagousia (Malagousia-Asyrtiko)
Μαλαγουζιά (Μαλαγουζια-Ασύρτικο)
In a mountainous vineyard with a backdrop of the magnificent view of the Messinian Gulf, a quality wine is produced with care and quality control at all stages with two of the best Greek varieties.
Lots of aromas and freshness of unripe yellow fruits with tones of chamomile and lime.

Asyrtiko (Asyrtiko)
Ασύρτικο (Ασύρτικο)
The biggest single Asyrtiko vinyeard in Messenia, lies on the bottom of a prehistoric lake and is owned by the Psaroulis family. Bright crystalline color, distinctive citrus aromas followed by an aftertaste of oregano and banana. Fruitiness, minerality and crispy acidity in perfect balance, accounting for a refreshing white wine.
Seafood, shellfish, white meat as well as fresh salads with aromatic cheese are just the perfect companion for this Asyrtiko!

Asyrtiko (Asyrtiko - retsina)
Ασύρτικο (Ασύρτικο ρετσίνα)
A wine made from the same grapes harvested from the vineyeard stretched on the prehistoric lake, this time produced with the ancient method of adding a carefully defined amount of pine resin during the 5 month fermentation in oak and acacia barrels.
The result will amaze your palate with multiple layers of herby and fruity flavours: Rosemary, mint, pine, citrus fruit and a slight touch of vanilla.
Plenty of room for food pairing: Seafood, caviar, poultry in herby sauces as well as intense mature cheese and salads.
Kisses (Malagousia), sparkling
Kisses (Μαλαγουζιά), αφρώδης οίνος
A sparkling Malagousia, produced by the traditional methode.
Intense fruity character and fine bubbles with an evident sweet aftertaste. Crispy and refreshing with complexity and nerve.
Served chilled at around 6-7 degrees can be enjoyed as an appertif or paired up with your dessert.

Ypographi (Cabernet Sauvignon - Agiorgitiko)
Υπογραφή (Cabernet Sauvignon - Αγιωργίτικο)
A red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Agiorgitiko, from vineyards at high altitude and very low yields per hectare. Cabernet Sauvignon has adjusted so well in Messenia that is considered by now one of the signature grapes of this county.
Aged for 36 months in new, french oak barrels, this wine maintains a perfect balance between the fruity character and the earthly flavours of the oak.
Ruby colour, overipe nose, aromas and flavours of cinnamon and other spices as well as dried fruit and vanilla.
