Eleia
Eleia is a province of northwest Peloponnesos, widely known as the birthplace of the Olympic games. The clay soil in combination with rivers and creeks provide a microclimate ideal for viticulture and wine making. Counting already a centuries-long trading tradition with the Ionian islands and Italy, the winemakers of Eleia have their own story to tell!
Just 100 m from the coast you find the ktima (=Greek for estate) of the Mercouri family, while a few Km further inland, nearby the ancient city of Olympia yet another gem, the ktima of the Brintziki family!
